Mission Statement
The Friends of the Carthage Free Library is a volunteer organization working to increase awareness of the Carthage Free Library by providing financial support for library programs, community outreach, and facilities improvements, and to support and promote the library's services to the community.
What do the Friends of the Carthage Free Library Do?
Friends help the library in many ways. We work within the community to create awareness of the Library's needs and the services offered. We also volunteer to help with library programming, and support the Library through fundraising activities and events. As a Friend, you choose how involved you want to be.
What are the Benefits of Becoming A Friend?
We have fun, make new friends, learn new skills and share our skills with others as well as help improve the community through new and existing programming. In addition, once you become a Friend you can attend Preview Nights at our bi-annual book sales as well as receive a fine forgiveness coupon. More information coming soon!
