Computer Classes & More!

Do you know about our computer classes?  Roger, our computer guy, teaches a Basic Computer Skills class Monday nights from 5:30 - 6:30 pm.  Bring your laptop if you have one, if not you can use one of ours.  Wednesday mornings is Computer Skills for Seniors, from 10:30-11:30.  No sign up is needed.  If you would like a One on One appointment, call Roger at 315-493-2620 to set up a time.

Senior's Social

Our next monthy Senior's Social program is Friday, September 27, from 10:30- noon.  A guest from Gray's Flower Shop will show us how to make a great floral arrangement.  The program is free, but there is a sign up, so we can be sure to have enough materials on hand.  You can make your own or team up with a friend to make one basket.  Welcome seniors age 60+.  Call us at 315-493-2620 to sign up today!

Teen Night!

Join us for fun (and food!).  Bring a friend and meet new friends, on the first and third Thursdays of every month, starting September 19th, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.  We'll have something to eat and a fun activity, maybe a movie, or a game night or a mystery to solve, for our first night, it's Bad Art Night.  Check it out!

Story Time is Back!

Summer vacation is over and we're back!  Come check out Story Time, starting up again on Thursday, September 19th at 10:00.  Pe-school - elementary school age children (it's ok to bring your baby too), will have fun with stories, music, games, crafts & snacks.  We'd love to see you!

New Policy for Children May 1st

New Policy in Place May 1st, 2019 For the safety of our younger patrons, unattended children between ages 10 -18 must sign in and out at the circulation desk with their name and phone number. Children under 10 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children under age 18 must have a signed permission form brought in by their parent or guardian in person to use a computer, and children must show their own library card at the desk in order to use a computer. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our children safe.

Carthage Central Backpack program for kids

We are an official drop off point for the Carthage Central Backpack program. The program supplies food for children when they are not getting lunches in school, such as Saturdays and holidays.  Drop off donations of peanut butter, jelly (plastic bottles), breakfast bars, mac & cheese, in the box by the front desk. Check out the list of most needed items - thanks for your support!
